Back in November, Green Bay Packers offensive lineman David Bakhtiari signed a huge deal worth an average of $23 million a year that made him the highest paid offensive lineman in the league.
That lasted all of four months after the San Francisco 49ers signed Trent Williams to a six years and $138 million ($55,100,000 guaranteed). That averages out to $23,010,000.
Williams beat out Bakhtiari’s number by just $10,000 a year and the Green bay Packers star definitely noticed it.
In 2020, Williams appeared in 14 games for the 49ers at left tackle, making 14 starts for them. Pro Football Focus rated him as the No. 1 tackle out of 83 qualifying players.WANT MORE FROM TOTALPROSPORTS? FOLLOW US ON GOOGLE NEWS.
