Tyrann Mathieu won’t live this moment down for quite sometime.
During Super Bowl LV, the Kansas City Chiefs safety seriously poked a sleeping bear when he got in the face of Tom Brady during the game and got the veteran QB all fired up.
Brady would then deliver a statement 31-9 victory over the team as well as a pass for a touchdown that went towards Mathieu’s way during the game.
After the game, Mathieu admitted after the game he had never “seen that side of Tom Brady.”
“Listen, Tom Brady’s a great quarterback. I never really saw that side of Tom Brady, to be honest,” Mathieu admitted, via Pro Football Talk. “But whatever. No comment. it’s over with. I’m done with it.”
There is no way Tyrann has never seen Brady fired up before, during, and after a game. He simply made a terrible decision on a night where the defense and offense were simply not in sync and it cost them a Super Bowl.
As we know now, Tyrann took to Twitter and accused Tom Brady of calling him a name that he cannot repeat to use. He has since deleted that tweet.
