One Dolphins player will be playing football for another team in the division and one of his teammates is not happy about it.

The veteran tight end is going to sign a one-year deal with the New England Patriots, according to ESPN’s Mike Reiss.

This signing would make it New England’s second key addition they have made to its pass-catching group this offseason after agreeing to a three-year, $33 million deal with JuJu Smith-Schuster.

Last season, Gesicki earned $10.9 million fully guaranteed in 2022 under the franchise tag.

In 2022, Gesicki appeared in all 17 games for the Dolphins and recorded 32 receptions for 362 yards (11.3 YPC) and five touchdowns.
