After leading the Philadelphia Eagles to a Super Bowl 59 championship, superstar defensive tackle Jalen Carter decided to treat himself to a sick full-body tattoo.
Carter followed up a strong rookie season with an even better year in 2024, finishing with 4.5 sacks, six pass breakups, 12 tackles for loss and two forced fumbles. In the postseason, he added three pass defenses, a forced fumble and two sacks.
As Jalen Carter prepares for what should be a special 2025 season, the Georgia product decided to get a full-body tattoo that covers his torso and runs across his arms. The jaw-dropping design includes an angel, gorilla, eagle and lion with a street sign reading “Apopka”, his home city in Florida.
Below is an awesome behind-the-scenes video of how the tattoo artists assembled the tattoo onto Carter:

What can we say? The 6-foot-3 and 314-pound defensive tackle looks extra menacing to opposing quarterbacks and offensive linemen now, as if he wasn’t already scary enough to defend against.
Carter finished the 2024 season with a Pro Football Focus grade of 74.1, placing him 22nd among interior defensive linemen. His run defense was a problem (59.0), but Carter’s 81.5 pass rush grade was the seventh-best among interior defensive linemen.

Jalen Carter & Eagles Begin Repeat Quest In Four Months

The Eagles will learn of their 2025 NFL Kickoff Game opponent when the schedule is released next week. After that, they’ll begin preparation for a rare Super Bowl title defense that only the 2003-04 New England Patriots and 2022-23 Kansas City Chiefs have achieved in the 21st century.
Philadelphia’s defense will look a bit different, though, with C.J. Gardner Johnson, James Bradberry, Josh Sweat and Milton Williams all departing. That means they’ll need Carter and fellow youngsters Jordan Davis, Nolan Smith and rookie Jihaad Campbell to lead the way on defense.
