An old quote from Will Levis has resurfaced and is going viral in the wake of the quarterback’s failure to get a team to pick him in the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft.
Levis was one of the 17 prospects invited to the mega event taking place in Kansas City this weekend but had to sit through the night without hearing his name called.
The Kentucky QB, who was projected to be a top-five pick, fell out of the first round completely and the fact that he kept getting shown on camera made it even worse.
The quarterback is now trending on social media for all the wrong reasons. He will certainly regret saying he wouldn’t attend Thursday’s event if he suspected he would drop to the second round as a video of him saying just that has resurfaced on the heels of his embarrassing ordeal.

“If I get invited and if I know I’ll be a pretty high pick, then I’ll definitely go,” he said at Pro Day last month. “I’m looking forward to going. I don’t want to go if I could be like a second-round pick, you know? Don’t want to have the camera on you all day.”
Talk about speaking things into existence…
Levis is now thought to be set to be picked early in Friday’s second round.
