Cameras caught Edmonton Oilers fans fighting…fellow Edmonton Oilers fans…during Tuesday night’s watch party for Game 5 against the Los Angeles Kings.
For Stanley Cup playoff games, the city of Edmonton holds watch parties at the Ice District downtown. Thousands of Oilers fans get together to cheer on their beloved hockey team in the postseason, hoping Connor McDavid and company will bring the city its sixth Stanley Cup title.
Unfortunately, it’s not uncommon to see stories of fans getting into dumb fights at sporting events. But Tuesday was different in that Edmonton Oilers fans decided to throw the fisticuffs at each other in multiple incidents.
Here are two viral video clips of Oilers fans exchanging haymakers, but be warned that the content is NSFW:

The Oilers went on to beat the Kings 3-1 to claim a 3-2 series lead, so there was no reason for Edmonton fans to be frustrated and throwing down their fists. Edmonton will get a chance to close out the series when they welcome Los Angeles back to Rogers Place on Thursday night.

Edmonton Oilers Look To Avenge Heartbreaking 2023 Stanley Cup Final Defeat

McDavid and the Edmonton Oilers are coming off a surprise trip to the Stanley Cup Final, where they fell 2-1 in Game 7 to the Florida Panthers after losing the first three games.
Edmonton looked done for when LA jumped out to a 2-0 series lead, but the efforts of McDavid, Leon Draisaitl and Evan Bouchard suddenly have the Oilers on the verge of reaching the elite eight for the fourth straight season.
The series is far from over, though, and the Kings promise to be a tough out come Thursday night. At any rate, Game 6 should be must-watch action after three straight thrilling games.
