Winning back-to-back Stanley Cups calls for a celebration, and the Florida Panthers didn’t miss the chance. The team lit up Miami’s E11EVEN nightclub with a night that racked up a jaw-dropping $500,000 bill. But here’s the twist: none of them paid a dime.
Star forward Matthew Tkachuk spilled the details during a laid-back chat on Barstool Sports’ Spittin’ Chiclets podcast this week. Sitting poolside with teammate Sam Reinhart and Bruins winger Brad Marchand, Tkachuk broke down the wild night, drinks in hand and laughter rolling. And when the topic of that monster tab came up, Tkachuk didn’t hesitate, “It was a $500k comp,” he said, with a grin.
Club Night To Remember

The Panthers’ post-victory bash wasn’t just expensive but outrageous in the best way. Tkachuk, Reinhart, and Marchand laughed about a viral video showing Marchand trying to re-enter the club after the team had left. Tkachuk joked that Marchand was returning to cover the tab before realizing the club had picked it up.
“We’re treated pretty well there,” Reinhart said during the interview. “They do a good job, they’re classy.”
According to TMZ Sports, the team’s victory tour in Miami last week had all the elements of a championship party. They dined at Maple & Ash, one of the city’s rising hot spots, before taking the celebration to E11EVEN. The night featured everything from fine dining to high-energy clubbing, complete with a 15-liter bottle of Belaire, gifted by none other than rap icon Rick Ross.
The Panthers didn’t just bring the Cup back to Florida. They brought the energy, the spirit, and a level of celebration that few teams ever reach. With the 2025-26 NHL season still months away, they’ve got plenty of time left to enjoy the high.

So while most people would panic at a $500,000 bill, the Panthers just raised their glasses and kept the night going. When you’re champions, it seems the drinks, and the tab, are on the house.
