A new company said to have Donald Trump’s backing is looking to launch a unique and controversial competition next year. Enhanced Games, an enterprise keen on mixing performance-enhancing drugs and science with sports, has announced it will host its first tournament in Las Vegas in May 2026.
According to a report from ESPN, competing athletes “will be allowed, if not outright encouraged, to use PEDs like steroids, testosterone and growth hormone that are typically legal to possess but banned in sports.”
The games’ organizers claim they are hoping to rid PEDs of their negative reputation and show that they can actually play a huge role in pushing the limits of human performance.

Of course, they’d have to do a lot to win everyone over. One social media user branded it a “dangerous clown show.”

Enhanced Games Looking To Push “Superhumanity”

Aron D’Souza, the founder of Enhanced Games, said he was aiming to create “superhumanity” with the competition while speaking in Vegas on Wednesday.
“We are here to move humanity forward,” he said. “… The old rules didn’t just hold back athletes, they held back humanity.”
The company is offering plenty of money to willing participants, given that they would likely lose eligibility for other sporting events after taking part.
Each event in the Olympic-style competition will have a $500,000 purse, with $250 going to the first-place finisher. Athletes will also receive payments for appearances and earn bonuses for breaking records.
