A nasty brawl erupted among fans who went to watch new MLS rivals San Diego FC and LA Galaxy this weekend, and it was all caught on camera.
San Diego hasn’t been around that long, but it appears there’s already a bitter rivalry between fans of the two soccer clubs.
LA Galaxy is one of the oldest and most successful teams in the MLS, while their counterparts are playing out their debut season this year. But, given that they’re both Southern California teams, there was always going to be enmity, at least where supporters are concerned.
The newcomers came out on top of Saturday’s clubs, winning 2-1 at Snapdragon Stadium. But the competition moved from the pitch to the stands after the game, with cameras catching an insane brawl in the bleachers following the final whistle.
San Diego FC & LA Galaxy Fans Went At It With Reckless Abandon

It’s unclear which set of fans started the fight or why things got violent, but the supporters threw drinks and their fists while Bob Marley’s ‘Could You Be Loved’ played in the background.
One fan was seen falling backwards on his own accord, before being punched by rival fans.

It could have been worse; it could have been ‘One Love’ playing instead.
For some reason, the security guards previously shown keeping an eye on Galaxy supporters were nowhere to be seen.
