Damian Lillard played college basketball at Weber State and chose to forgo his senior year to enter the draft. Lillard entered the 2012 NBA Draft and was drafted sixth overall by the Portland Trail Blazers. In his first season in the league, he was named the 2013 NBA Rookie of the Year. In 2015, Lillard signed a five-year, $120 million contract extension with the Trail Blazers, and in 2017, he was named the recipient of the Magic Johnson Award for his excellence on and off the court. In 2020, Lillard recorded a career-high of 61 points and also recorded his first career triple-double.
