Jaylen Brown played college basketball for the California Golden Bears of the University of California, Berkley. In the 2016 NBA Draft, Brown was selected by the Boston Celtics as the third overall pick. At the end of his rookie season, he was named to the NBA All-Rookie Second Team.
In the 2019-2020 season, the Celtics decided to extend Jaylen Brown’s contract with a four-year, $115 million extension. He scored a career-high of 50 points in an overtime victory against the Orlando Magic in January of 2022, and along with Jason Tatum, helped lead the Celtics to their first NBA Finals appearance since 2010.
