Jimmy Butler played briefly for Tyler Junior Community College in Texas before transferring to Marquette University. He played through his senior year before entering the 2011 NBA Draft, where he was drafted as the 30th overall pick by the Chicago Bulls. In 2014-15 seasons, Butler became the first player in Bulls history to be named the NBA’s Most Improved Player. After six seasons with the Bulls, he was traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves and played for them until mid-2018 when he was once again traded to the Philadelphia 76ers. In 2019, Butler signed with the Miami Heat where he was named to his fifth NBA All-Star Game. The Heat reached the 2020 NBA Finals where Butler became the third player in Finals history to record a 40+ point triple-double.
