Mike Zimmer’s past teams coached include the Dallas Cowboys, Atlanta Falcons, Cincinnati Bengals, and Minnesota Vikings. He won a Super Bowl with the Dallas Cowboys in 1996 as a defensive backs coach. As head coach of the Minnesota Vikings, Zimmer brought them a record of 74-59-1, which included a 2-3 playoff record. He was replaced by Kevin O’Connell in 2022 and went on to accept a position as an analyst for Jackson State under head coach Deion Sanders.
On October 31, 2022, Mike Zimmer’s son, Adam Zimmer, tragically passed away at age 38. Court documents revealed police officers were called to Zimmer’s house after they received reports that the coach “had passed out from drinking.” Mike Zimmer’s girlfriend is Katarina Elizabeth, a 38-year-old mother, model, and vice president of Middle Market Lending at Frandsen Bank and Trust.
