UFC President Dana White was recently in a very giving and generous mood as he gifted one of his friends $250,000 cash. The lucky recipient was YouTuber and Nelk Boys member Kyle Forgeard, who turned 28 on Tuesday.
Many UFC fans took to Twitter to voice their displeasure, as they pointed out that this huge sum of cash is way more money than many of Dana’s fighters make.
A lot of fighters with the promotion were also quick to react on Twitter, with many of them looking for their own payday.
Bantamweight Louis Smolka even suggested that all fighters should come together and start a union.
Fighter compensation has become a hot button issue as of late as many feel the fighters should be much higher paid considering the pounding they take in the octagon.
Hopefully for them, Uncle Dana can open his wallet and spread the wealth a little bit more.
