Caitlin Clark was unavailable for the most important game of the regular season for the Indiana Fever.
Somebody forgot to tell the Fever that they were the underdogs.
The Indiana Fever won the 2025 WNBA Commissioner’s Cup championship, defeating the Minnesota Lynx 74-59 in Minneapolis. Without their offensive leader, the Fever shut down a Lynx team that entered the game leading the WNBA in offensive rating.
Clark may not have been playing, but she was definitely a vocal leader and cheer captain from the sidelines.
Five different Fever players reached double digits in scoring without Caitlin Clark on the floor.
After the victory, it was time to party.
In the locker room, one of the players went live on Instagram.

Aliyah Boston also had a good night with 12 points, 11 rebounds, and six assists.
Caitlin Clark And The Indiana Fever Earned $500,000 Prize Pool

The Fever went on the road and, without their star player (Caitlin Clark), took down the WNBA’s top team in decisive fashion.
In addition to the money, each player received a smaller cryptocurrency sum. They did this despite missing Clark for a third-straight game due to a groin injury.
Half a million dollars is a significant bounty in a league where salaries can still run in the five figures.
Just imagine what the Fever can do once Clark gets healthy and finds her shot once again.
