Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark has a lot of money in her bank account, but now she has the chance to add even more to it.
The Indiana Fever ended their Eastern Conference Commissioner’s Cup pool in a tumultuous 88-71 victory over the Connecticut Sun on Tuesday.
With this win, the Fever are now eligible to play for the Commissioner’s Cup next month.
Clark couldn’t be happier. She has put her best foot forward, especially after a five-game hiatus she had to take due to her quad injury.
They are now set to face the defending champions, the Minnesota Lynx, in the Commissioner’s Cup Final on July 1.
Indiana will also be playing for the $500,000 prize pool, in addition to winning their first piece of silverware.
Caitlin Clark and her teammates would get around $45,000 each, on top of the $5,000 cryptocurrency prize from Coinbase.

Following Tuesday’s win over the Sun, Clark spoke honestly about the upcoming Final.
“Obviously, we’re excited. That’s a big deal,” Clark said via Chloe Peterson of IndyStar. “And, you know, obviously, New York helped us out a little bit to get there.
“And it’s a hard thing to do, and why wouldn’t we celebrate that we’re getting to play for a pool of money, like, that’s pretty fun, and you’re competing to win a trophy.
“It’s an extra game for us to get better as well. So obviously, we celebrated it, and we’re proud of that.”
Caitlin Clark Has Team On Winning Streak

The Fever are so happy to have Caitlin Clark back.
The Fever went 2-3 without Clark in the lineup while also falling below .500.
Now that she is back, the team has won two in a row and has a 6-5 record.
