Sophie Cunningham has joined forces with Caitlin Clark and Lexie Hull for the upcoming WNBA season, and two out of the three have gone viral on social media this week.
Cunningham joined the Indiana Fever as part of a four-team trade earlier this year, having previously played for the Phoenix Mercury. She has been garnering excitement following her appearances at training camp and is expected to make her new team even more competitive, given her shooting ability and competitive nature.
Hull, on the other hand, is entering her fourth season with the team. She was drafted as the No. 6 overall pick in 2022 and is an integral part of the rotation in Indiana. An aggressive defender, the former Stanford standout is also known for her long-distance shooting.
The 25-year-old competed in the inaugural season of the new Unrivaled women’s basketball league this year and should benefit from the experience.
