President Donald Trump told the nation that “Iran’s key nuclear enrichment facilities have been completely and totally obliterated.”
Trump announced on Saturday night the U.S. had struck a trio of nuclear facilities in Iran. The President ordered U.S. B-2 stealth bombers to carry out the strikes against Iran’s Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan nuclear facilities.
All hell broke loose on social media soon afterward.
Trump’s earlier warnings about U.S. involvement had raised concerns about presidential authority and the role of Congress in approving the use of military force overseas.
“The U.S. military carried out massive precision strikes on the three key nuclear assemblies in the Iranian regime: Fordo, Natanz, and Isfahan,” President Donald Trump said in a national address from the White House Saturday night.
Prior to his address, the President wrote on his Truth Social platform that a “full payload of BOMBS” was dropped on the “primary site” Fordo. The President also said all U.S. planes made it safely out of Iranian airspace.
And in the second post, Mr. Trump wrote: “This is a HISTORIC MOMENT FOR THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, ISRAEL (sic), AND THE WORLD. IRAN MUST NOW AGREE TO END THIS WAR. THANK YOU!”

New York Liberty guard Natasha Cloud is just one of many people to call out the President for his actions.
Cloud, a three-time All-Defense Team member and WNBA champion with the Washington Mystics, posted a few times on social media after the strikes were announced.
“A sad, sad day, Cloud wrote on X.
“Grounds for impeachment,” she added about Donald Trump.
Grounds for impeachment.

Vice President JD Vance Speaks Out Over Donald Trump’s Decision

Vice President JD Vance said Sunday that the U.S. is not at war with Iran after President Donald Trump said the U.S. military had dropped bombs on three Iranian nuclear sites on Saturday.
The move marked the first time that the U.S. had directly attacked Iran and prompted concerns about whether attacks could drag the U.S. into a wider war.
“We’re not at war with Iran,” Vance said. “We’re at war with Iran’s nuclear program.”
Vance stood by Trump’s side as well, saying Trump had “clear authority to act to prevent the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction.”
