Seattle Storm guard Nika Muhl has already been drafted, but she still found herself at the 2025 Draft.
The Storm have the No. 2 pick of the draft, meaning they’ll likely land a player fans will recognize.
Muhl showed up to see who the team would be selecting and to support Paige Bueckers.
Muhl certainly came dressed to impress.
After leading the UConn Huskies to their 12th title, Paige Bueckers was widely expected to go No. 1 overall in Monday’s draft, and that is exactly what happened as Muhl and others cheered her on.

Nika Muhl Didn’t Play Much In Her Rookie Season

During her rookie season with the Storm, Muhl averaged 0.6 rebounds and 0.4 assists in 3.6 minutes of game action. She did not have much opportunity to make an impact on the hardwood.
She played a total of 16 games and earned her only two points in the final regular season matchup against the Phoenix Mercury.
Things would only get worse for her.
The Seattle Storm point guard suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament and meniscus in her left knee during a game on October 3 while playing for Turkish basketball club, Besiktas.
She underwent successful surgery the following month to repair the ligament and meniscus.
Muhl was the 14th overall pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft. It is unknown if she will be ready to start the 2025 season.
