Caitlin Clark might be the most targeted player in the entire WNBA, but she isn’t without fault.
Clark and Jacy Sheldon had multiple altercations during a game between the Indiana Fever and Connecticut Sun. The two players have a history of on-court rivalry dating back to their college days at Iowa and Ohio State, respectively.
Early in the second quarter of the Indiana Fever’s June 17 matchup against the Connecticut Sun, Caitlin Clark shoved Sun guard Jacy Sheldon following a verbal exchange between the two. That was just the start of things to come.
Later in the third quarter, Clark drove left with Sheldon defending when incidental contact to Clark’s face left the Fever star upset.
Clark shoved Sheldon again, which led Sun forward Marina Mabrey to jump in and push Clark down to the floor.
Everybody has seen those two incidents, but now a third one is coming to light between the two.
While some fans defended Caitlin Clark and called for the WNBA to take action against those fouling her, one person is calling her out over her actions.

Footage shows Clark intentionally throwing herself backward into Sheldon after a missed shot as a way to draw a foul.
“A classic example of her going out of her way to provoke Jacy Sheldon. This and many other slimy things she did during the game,” a post said.

Caitlin Clark Has a Terrible Game In the Next Game After a Controversial One

The reigning WNBA Rookie of the Year has already filled her season with milestones, becoming the first player in league history to record 100+ points, 30+ assists, and 30+ rebounds through her first five games of the season.
She had nothing on Thursday night.
The Indiana Fever did not have to come to Caitlin Clark’s defense this time, but the Golden State Valkyries made everything tough for her.
Clark, coming off a game that involved a lot of jawing and fighting, was not her usual sharp-shooting self in the Fever’s 88-77 loss to the Valkyries on the road.
Clark shot just 3-of-14 from the field, including her seven failed three-point attempts.
Clark tallied 11 points, nine assists, and seven rebounds while turning the ball over six times to Golden State.
