Caitlin Clark is already one of the baddest female basketball players the world has ever seen, but it appears she could have been just as prolific at soccer.
A video of the Indiana Fever point guard playing high school footy has resurfaced online showing Clark scoring a remarkable goal then experiencing a meltdown after it’s disallowed.
Clark played soccer for Dowling Catholic High School in West Des Moines, Iowa, before going on to break records in college basketball. She played two seasons of varsity soccer and ultimately on hoops as her primary sport.
As noted above, she was pretty good. The WNBA star was named to the 2017 Class 3A All-Iowa girls team and could have probably carved out a career for herself on the field if she wanted to.
Caitlin Clark Had Skills And An Attitude To Go With It

A clip surfaced on X/Twitter this week showing Clark playing soccer for Dowling, dribbling through a pair of defenders after deftly breaking away with a spin move, then burying a goal after a neat fake.
The goal is waved off for what we suspect is the refs deeming it not to have crossed the line, although it appears that the goal was legit, sending Clark into a tantrum.

Yup, Caitlin Clark had some tekkers!
But she also had quite a temper. Of course, she had every right to throw a fit as the ball appeared to cross the line.
According to MaxPreps, Clark played 27 games in high school, scoring 42 goals and registering three assists.
Ultimately, she decided to focus on basketball, probably because it’s impossible to get a made basket wrong, though there are plenty of other avenues for contention.
