Chicago Sky star Angel Reese plays basketball professionally. So does LeBron James.
However, the salary they make is very different for a variety of reasons.
On her latest podcast episode, Reese had controversial TV star Chrisean Rock on as they discussed a number of things.
At one point, Angel Reese asked Rock: “What do you see for women’s sports?”
Rock responded with, “Us getting paid our worth.”
She added that Angel Reese is doing “exactly what LeBron is doing.”
Reese made it clear that “It was coming. Trust me. It’s coming.”

Sky star Angel Reese Once Called Out The WNBA For Not Covering Her Bills
Angel Reese, a rookie with the Chicago Sky in the WNBA, has publicly stated that her WNBA salary doesn’t cover her bills.
“I just hope y’all know,” Reed said during an Instagram Live session in 2024.
“The WNBA don’t pay my bills at all. I don’t even think it pays one of my bills. Literally.”
Reese revealed that she has a monthly rental payment that totals $8,000, which breaks down to $96,000 on a yearly basis. The former LSU standout made a salary of $73,439 in her rookie WNBA season as a member of the Sky.
Luckily for her, she has many endorsements that help her bring in more than cash flow.
She has deals with Reebok, Beats by Dre, and Hershey’s Reese’s Pieces candy. In addition, she started a podcast called “Unapologetically Angel.”
Reese also earned $50,000 after joining a new 3-on-3 women’s league called “Unrivaled,” and her team won the championship.
