The Seattle Storm coaching staff is under investigation by the WNBA, according to multiple reports.
On Wednesday, WNBA reported Khristina Williams reported via X/Twitter there’s “an investigation being launched into the Seattle Storm coaching staff by the WNBA and league security.”
In a follow-up from Williams’ X post, For The Win later reported that “a complaint was filed with the WNBA regarding a member of the Storm organization.” Full details weren’t immediately available.
Three hours after Williams’ report, Annie Costabile of Front Office Sports reported that there’s no investigation, and that the WNBA reviewed an allegation of a Storm assistant coach swearing “at a former Storm player following Sunday’s game” during Sunday’s home game against the Las Vegas Aces.

An allegation was made that a Storm assistant cursed at a former Storm player following Sunday's game against the Aces. The league reviewed the complaint.
Williams later passed along a similar report on X/Twitter:

A source with knowledge of the situation tells @iHRWomensSports the league is reviewing a complaint from a former Seattle Storm player who alleges an assistant coach directed profanity at them. https://t.co/O5SQehFCZ9

At any rate, we’ll just have to wait and see if further information comes out. The Seattle Storm haven’t publicly commented on the matter.
The story is also noteworthy because in December, then-Seattle star Jewell Lloyd requested a trade from the team following news that a local law firm had been hired to look into allegations of Storm coaches bullying and harassing their players.
The investigation found no violations, and Lloyd was traded to Las Vegas in January. The 31-year-old is averaging 10.2 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game in her first season with the Aces.
Seattle Storm Are Off To Sluggish 4-4 Start

After winning three of their first four games, the Storm proceeded to lose three in a row before last night’s win against Dallas pushed them back to the .500 mark. Skylar Diggins, Nneka Ogwumike and Gabby Williams are all averaging over 14 points per game, with guard Erica Wheeler providing secondary scoring at 9.9 points per game.
