Caitlin Clark has now missed a disturbing number of games during her second year.
Prior to her time in the WNBA, she had last missed a game during her sophomore year of high school. Clark has just missed her sixth contest.
The Indiana Fever had the lead going into the fourth quarter but lost to the Los Angeles Sparks, 85-75. Playing without Caitlin has proven to be a tough task.

Indiana Fever Head Coach Stephanie White Speaks Out After Caitlin Clark Misses Another Game

Fever head coach Steph White said Thursday that Clark told the team that she was feeling pain in her groin on Wednesday night and then went for an MRI.
Clark is “day-to-day,” and a decision on when she will play again will depend on how she responds to treatment.
The Indiana Fever suffered an 85-75 loss to the Los Angeles Sparks, and White spoke about lacking a killer instinct, something she knows Clark possesses.
White sent a scathing message about her team’s mentality.
“I mean, I think that we haven’t shown a killer instinct yet,” White said when asked about these fourth quarter collapses, per Tony East’s YouTube channel. “We have had a tendency to relax in those moments instead of… go for the kill.
“We’ve had empty possessions, where we’ve been too lax with the basketball… We’ve had breakdowns on the defensive end of the floor. It’s just moments of mental lapses or mental relaxation that you can’t have in this league,” White added.
