Footage from WWE’s ‘Roast of WrestleMania’ has surfaced online following the April 20 event.
WWE kept this one off television, and with good reason, as the jokes were way over the top.
The promotion announced the roast as a non-televised event hosted by comedian Tony Hinchcliffe at the Fontainebleau hotel’s BleauLive Theater. It’s rumored that attendees weren’t allowed to bring their phones, which could be true given that there’s not much footage from the show.
However, two clips have been found on social media, which can be seen right below:
with Paul Heyman cracking jokes like this, no wonder WWE didn’t want the roast recorded…whoops, some of it leaked anyway

According to folks who were present at the closed-off affair, it was mainly two hours of “sexual puns and F bombs,” with Paul Heyman the star of the night. He said plenty in that two-minute clip alone.

Comedian and actor Gabriel Iglesias was on show as well.
It’s understood that Linda McMahon was in attendance, while Triple H also made a surprise appearance at the end.
WWE’s ‘Roast of WrestleMania’ May Never Make It To TV

Apart from Hinchcliffe and Heyman, other stars such as R-Truth, Samy Zayn, Pat McAfee, Braun Strowman, The Miz, and Nia Jax had opportunities to deliver their quips.
But one attendee expressed doubt over it ever airing, so we will have to make do with the leaks and hope a few more come out.
“That was so much fun. Cell phones were put in pouches for good reason lol. I doubt this makes it to TV. Sh*t was wild,” one fan remarked.
It’s also said that McAfee was high, having gotten some marijuana into his system, which he confessed to while speaking to Heyman on Monday.
Whether or not the show ever sees the light of day remains to be seen. But maybe it’s for the best.
