Just days after fans raised eyebrows over his unusual appearance on national television, wrestling icon Hulk Hogan headed straight to the operating room. The 71-year-old WWE legend underwent neck surgery on Wednesday, a procedure described as a “little fusion” that aimed to help him “feel a little better,” according to TMZ Sports.
In true Hogan fashion, the former wrestling champ didn’t waste any time getting back on his feet. Less than 24 hours after going under the knife, Hogan was reportedly back to work on Thursday, showing no signs of slowing down.
A rep told TMZ, “Quick turnaround,” confirming that Hogan bounced back fast.
Fans Voice Concerns As Hogan Powers Through Recovery

The timing of the surgery follows a strange and much-talked-about appearance on Fox & Friends earlier this month. Hogan joined the morning show to promote his upcoming wrestling venture, Real American Freestyle, set to launch this summer. But fans weren’t talking about wrestling. They zeroed in on his noticeably altered appearance, which included an oddly dyed black beard clashing with his white goatee and hair, along with a visibly weathered complexion.
“Tell Hulk Hogan his face is dirty, clean that soot off,” one viewer posted on social media.

Another added, “Does anyone believe this is Hulk Hogan?” The comments kept coming, with someone comparing his look to the magnetic toy character Wooly Willy. The segment also raised eyebrows as Hogan seemed to ramble, leaving fans more confused than hyped.

Despite the chatter, Hogan continues pushing forward. On Logan Paul’s Impaulsive podcast, he revealed just how much wear and tear his body has taken over the years. “I’ve had 10 back surgeries,” Hogan said. “Both knees and both hips replaced, shoulders—everything.” He estimated he’s undergone at least 25 surgeries between 2014 and 2024.
While Hogan stays focused on his new league, family drama simmers in the background. A public fallout with ex-wife Linda and daughter Brooke has played out in recent months. Linda accused him of being a “complete liar” and “sex addict,” while Brooke reportedly cut ties with both parents. Hogan married his third wife, Sky Daily, in 2023, a ceremony Brooke did not attend.
Between wrestling ventures, surgeries, and family tensions, Hogan’s plate seems full. But if there’s one thing fans know about him, it’s this: the Hulkster doesn’t stay down for long.
