WWE superstar John Cena has revealed that fans bullied him into getting a hair transplant.
Cena, who accomplished a historic feat at WrestleMania 41 on Sunday by becoming the first-ever 17-time World Champion, has fessed up to getting some work done on his bald spot after getting picked on by fans.
The new Undisputed Heavyweight Champion spoke with Pat McAfee on Monday following his win over Cody Rhodes on Night 2 of the Premium Live Event and revealed having gotten treatment for the hair issue.

Cena, one of the most beloved wrestlers in WWE history, has also become a huge Hollywood attraction. But not even that was enough to shield him from online bullying, as he was the subject of memes and other posts due to the sparsely populated spot on the back of his head.
He appeared to be in character while speaking on ‘The Pat McAfee Show’ when he went after the “idiots” who forced him to get the procedure.
“Thank you for being so aware of my needs and emotions, ’cause you guys ripped me to shreds for a genetic problem that I can’t control,” he said.

John Cena Says Fans Put Him In A Tough Spot

Cena also accused the WWE Universe of being mean to him and proving a distraction while he was trying to win things.
“‘Hey dude, you don’t look good enough out there,’ like, that’s what I’m saying. This isn’t cool. You guys aren’t cool to me. Like, why do you think I did — I’m in the [Royal] Rumble trying to win and they’re like, ‘Man, that’s a bald spot!!'”
He pointed out that baldness is very common among men and is not something he can control.
“Like, yo, that’s not fair. I can’t control that. It happens to seven out of 10 dudes.”
It appears that he will be subject of even more trolling, despite the transplant, as the old hair will need to fall out before new ones sprout.
While he’s thankful for the motivation, he regrets fans ganged up on him in public instead of pulling him aside.
“Thank you for bullying me into getting surgical hair replacement,” he added. “That’s how far y’all pushed me. I appreciate that.”
