WWE icon Ric Flair has asked for prayers, having revealed that he is getting ready for another surgery.
The 16-time World Champion’s tweet sharing an update on his health situation has seen an outpouring of support from fans and athletes alike as he revealed he’s set to go under the knife yet again, while sharing a gruesome photo from a past operation.
“Surgery Coming Up. Keep Me In Your Prayers. It’s All Fragile,” he wrote.
Flair included photos of his forehead, which appears to be bruised, likely due to his battle with skin cancer, which he has been diagnosed with twice in the last three years, and a picture showing surgical staples in his torso from an operation he underwent in 2017.

Ric Flair’s Health Struggles Are Well Documented

Ric Flair did not go into details about his upcoming surgery, but was likely referring to his skin cancer treatments, though he could be dealing with complications from operations he has had in the past.
The 76-year-old took to social media earlier this month to tell fans everything was headed in the right direction, but his latest post indicates that things may have taken a turn for the worse.
Flair has had several health issues come up over the last several years. He suffered a ruptured intestine, kidney failure, and congestive heart failure in 2017 and had to be placed in an induced coma. He also underwent heart surgery in 2019.
Despite his worrying health, he remains publicly active and is still involved in wrestling. He was in the ring as recently as 2022.
We wish him the best.
