Wrestling legend Ric Flair has offered a worrying update on his health amid treatment for skin cancer.
Flair, 76, has been diagnosed with melanoma and continues to undergo treatment, which has led to him postponing a scheduled meet-and-greet event at a wellness clinic in Mississippi for the second time.
“To All My Dear Friends And Fans- I Am So Sorry, That I Will Not Be Able To See You Tuesday,” he tweeted this week.
He added:
“I Have Health Issues, That I Need To Attend To. As I Have Procrastinated Putting My Health First In The Past. Melanoma, I Have Found Out, Is Nothing To Play With. I Promise To See You ASAP. Please Continue To Love Ric Flair Drip, As @_RicFlairDrip Loves You.”
The WWE Hall of Famer initially denied the diagnosis but admitted that he was dealing with skin cancer for the second time in three years during an interview with People.
“It’s the second time in three years that I’ve been dealing with skin cancer,” he told the publication. “I will be undergoing treatment next week.”

Ric Flair Has Had A Rough Time With His Health But Continues Pushing

Flair, widely regarded as one of the best entertainers in WWE history, and certainly one of the most decorated, retired in 2008 after a loss to Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania 24, but he continues to make appearances here and there.
He has dealt with several health complications over the last several years.
The 16-time World Champion was near death in 2017, having suffered a ruptured intestine that left him comatose for 11 days.
The Nature Boy has also dealt with kidney failure and came close to congestive heart failure due to alcohol abuse. His family was told that he had a 20 percent chance of survival, yet he recovered after being placed into a medically induced coma and had an obstructed bowel surgically removed.
Flair also miraculously survived a plane crash in 1975 and was back in the ring in less than a year despite being told he would never be able to wrestle again after breaking his back in three places.
While WWE officially recognizes Ric Flair as a 16-time champion, some records suggest he has 21 to 25 world titles, including some that he won at non-televised events.
He has himself claimed to be a 21-time champion, but some wrestling historians say he may have had as many as 26 championship reigns.
