The NFL will cover the medical bills for Kendrick Norton after a horrific car accident forced medical personnel to amputate his arm right there on the scene to save his life.
Norton, who had signed with the Dolphins in December, is currently in recovery.
Per ESPN:
“The NFL stepped in with some help Tuesday morning, telling Norton that all of his medical bills will be covered under the league’s and Dolphins’ insurance policy, per his agent Malki Kawa.”
The 22-year-old needs two more surgeries, despite already having three so far. The ultimate goal for Norton is to get a prosthetic arm.
Norton posted a message to his Instagram story on Monday with a photo of him giving a thumbs up. “I’m good thank you to everyone that checked on me!!!” Norton wrote. “I’m goood thanks for the prayers to God be the glory.”
