Jalen Ramsey Seems To Indicate He Wants To Play In Houston After Westbrook Trade (PIC)
It seems like a foregone conclusion that Jalen Ramsey will at some point make his exit from the Jacksonville Jaguars.
It was just last month when the Jaguars cornerback took to Instagram and made it clear that he wouldn’t be giving any hometown discounts to his current club after they didn’t give him a contract this offseason.
On Thursday, the blockbuster trade between the OKC Thunder and Houston Rockets went down with Russell Westbrook taking his talents to his former OKC running mate in James Harden to see if they can get things done in Houston.
Texans WR DeAndre Hopkins welcomed Westbrook to the city, which prompted Ramsey to jump in and make a rather interesting comment that suggested he wanted to be in Houston.
Fast forward to September 2019 and Ramsey has formally asked the Jaguars to trade him.
Ramsey enters the fourth year of his rookie deal, set to earn $3.634 million in base salary.
