Melvin Gordon is officially in a holdout status as he informed the team that he will not report to the start of training camp, reports ESPN.com’s Adam Schefter.
The Chargers are expected to start camp today.
The Los Angeles Chargers running back is scheduled to make $5.6 million this season, but he is looking for something much bigger for the production he puts out.
To show his disdain for the franchise, social media users noticed that he unfollowed the team on Instagram.
That seems to show a very disgruntled man.
The 26-year-old Gordon has led the Chargers in rushing for three straight seasons, racking up 885 yards in 12 games and also had 490 receiving yards while scoring 14 total touchdowns during the 2018 season.
