Jalen Ramsey wants out of Jacksonville. All reports indicated that his final game with the franchise would be on Thursday Night Football against the Tennessee Titans. Well, Ramsey played in the game and here we are days later, there is no buzz about any trades happening for Ramsey.
Ramsey was said to be dealing with the flu that didn’t last for very long, and now he’s said to be having back issues.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that it is “far-fetched to think” that Ramsey will play this weekend against the Denver Broncos.
Amid the situation, head coach Doug Marrone fielded questions on Wednesday, but when asked about Ramsey’s health situation, Marrone couldn’t help but laugh through answers.
“He was sick,” Marrone began, a grin creeping onto his face.
Asked if he was good now, Marrone replied: “From the sickness? Yeah.”
“I don’t know,” he said, before composing himself. “I really don’t know. He just gets tight. You know, his back gets tight. It’s normal, his back has gotten tight before.”
That certainly is not going to come off well for a guy who got into a verbal disagreement with Ramsey on the sidelines when the team faced off against the Houston Texans.
We’ll see what happens after this controversy.
