BREAKING: Radio Host Fired After Sexist Comments About ESPN’s Maria Taylor

This is one of those moments where a person truly could’ve kept his comments to himself, and he would still have a job right now.

On Monday night, veteran college football reporter Maria Taylor made her NFL debut for ESPN’s Monday Night Football between the Pittsburgh Steelers and New York Giants.

Unfortunately, her appearance became a topic of conversation when Dan McNeil, a Chicago radio host, made a sexist remark about Taylor’s outfit choice for the game. “NFL sideline reporter or a host for the AVN (Adult Video News) annual awards presentation?” he tweeted and later deleted.

Less than 24 hours after his comment, The Athletic reporter Jon Greenberg has reported that McNeil has been fired.

The statement:

Here’s the outift he commented on and got him fired.
