Notre Dame’s upset win over No. 1 Clemson may have been great for the team and the program, but it could turn out to be the worst thing to possibly happen.
After Clemson’s last attempt to score in double overtime fell short, Notre Dame fans rushed the field as if their team wasn’t playing in a pandemic.
Former Notre Dame wide receiver Chase Claypool took to Twitter and had a very troubling reaction to what happened following the win. Claypool responded to a tweet that said Notre Dame’s players could have an outbreak of COVID-19 due to the field storm.
Not exactly the message you want to send out on your platform.
Removing Notre Dame students from the stands could be an option for the school in future home games.
