Drew Brees exit from Sunday’s game was puzzling, but the team ultimately made the right move.
On Monday, it was reported that the New Orleans Saints QB has multiple rib fractures on both sides of his chest and a collapsed lung.
Ed Werder of ESPN explains that these injuries were suffered over two weeks and it’s uncertain how much time he might miss.
In 2020, Brees has appeared in nine games for the Saints and completed 73.5 percent of his passes for 2,196 yards, 18 touchdowns and three interceptions.
