NBC Explains Why Ravens-Steelers Will Be Forced To Play At 3:40 P.M. ET On Wednesday

Footballs Fans have been treated to games on every single day of the week, excpet for Wednesday. That will change this week when the NFL adds Wednesday to the mix, thanks to the Ravens-Steelers game.

Ravens at Steelers was originally scheduled to be played on Thanksgiving night, then it got moved to Tuesday, and now finally on hump day.

Ravens-Steelers will kickoff this Wednesday at 3:40 p.m. ET on NBC. Horrible timing for a lot of people, but there is a reason why it is so early.

NBC is scheduled to air the Rockerfeller Center Christmas Tree lighting ceremony Wednesday night, and they are committed ot airing the memorable tree lighting, meaning Ravens-Steelers had no other choice than to kickoff at 3:40 p.m. ET.
