Colin Kaepernick Trends After Cops Use Excessive Force On Army Officer During Traffic Stop (VIDEO + TWEETS)
In the aftermath of Colin Kaepernick’s protest of the national anthem, we heard a lot about how he had disrespected the flag and the military with his actions.
The former San Francisco 49ers QB hasn’t received a job offer in the NFL since the 2016 season ended. His name has been trending on social media this week after video surfaced of Army Second Lieutenant Caron Nazario, still in his uniform, being pepper sprayed by police officers during a traffic stop.
“I’ve not committed any crime,” Nazario said.
When two Windsor police officers, guns drawn, ordered him to get out, he said, “I’m honestly afraid to get out.”
“Yeah dude, you should be,” one officer responds.
Nazario asks, “Why am I being treated like this? Why?”
“Because you’re not cooperating,” an officer responds.
That;s when social media brought up Kaepernick and how people riduculed him for disrespecting the military, but a video of cops actually doing it told a different story.
That US Army officer is suing two Virginia police officers after they pointed guns at him, pepper sprayed him and pushed him to the ground during a traffic stop last December.
