Jaylen Twyman is going to have an uphill battle after he was shot four times while in Washington D.C. His agent Drew Rosenhaus said he was in the ‘wrong place at the wrong time.”

Adam Schefter added that Twyman does not need surgery and his x-rays were negative.

“In talking to him today, he’s going to be OK – that’s all that matters. We’re thankful he’s OK. He will make a full recovery.”

Jaylen Twyman was drafted by the Vikings in the sixth round of the 2021 NFL Draft.

The 6-2, 290 pound Twyman had a breakout 2019 campaign in which he exploded for 10.5 sacks and 12.5 tackles for loss to earn First Team All-ACC honors, as well as All-American recognition from multiple publications.

He took the COVID-19 opt-out in 2020.
