Shaq Lets Ben Simmons Know That He ‘Ain’t That Damn Good’ of A B-Ball Player (VIDEO)

Shaquille O’Neat is holding nothing back when it comes to Ben Simmons.

There have been rumors that siuggested Simmons could actually try and hold out from the Philadelphia 76ers if he doesn’t get traded elsewhere.

Shaq had a lot to say about the saga between the player and the franchise.

What Shaquille O’Neal said on “The Big Podcast”:

“We can make the assumption that you’re not putting in the work. People who put in the work, when you see the product, you’re saying, ‘Oh, okay, he’s been working.’ But I don’t want to see Instagrams of you making 15 to 19-footers and then when you’re down one, dribbling under the basket when you have a guy who’s 5-foot-1 on you to pass to somebody else because you’re scared to go to the line…

“I saw a look in Ben’s eyes that I’ve never seen before. You can ask for a trade all you want. But you still have to work on your game. And you’re still obligated to put on a great show because they’re paying you and us a lot of money.”

The Australian is entering the second year of a five-year, $177.2 million deal, but both isdes are ready to split up.

Speaking on ‘The Mike Missanelli Show’ Charles Barley added his commentary to the situation by stating the 76ers cannot cave to the pressure of sending him where he wants to go.

“This is total BS and if I’m the Sixers, we had our annual Sixers dinner the other night and I said to those guys I will call Ben Simmons,” he said.

“If you want to be traded that is fine, we’re not giving you away. We’re not going to trade you to where you want to be traded.

“For someone who wants to give up the deal, we’re not taking 25 cents on the dollar. If we don’t get the deal we want, you are going to be playing right here in Philadelphia.

“You don’t run the 76ers, we gave you $200 million, the only thing we ask you to do is shoot the damn basketball and now you’re mad because we’re telling you to shoot the basketball.

“Now you want to go somewhere, I’m not having that. I will take the best deal. If you show up and don’t play, I’m going to suspend you and you won’t get paid.”
