Things were already bad, but now they are getting even worse for Henry Ruggs.
The former Las Vegas Raiders WR is now facing two additional felony charges and a misdemeanor in connection with a fiery crash on Tuesday that left a young woman and a dog dead. The 22-year-old initially faced charges of DUI and reckless driving — both resulting in death.
Via the report:
“Court records show that Clark County prosecutors also intend to charge the once-promising football player with DUI resulting in substantial bodily harm, reckless driving resulting in substantial bodily harm and a misdemeanor charge of possession of a firearm while under the influence.
Prosecutors previously had said they planned to add charges related to a weapon found in Ruggs’ Chevrolet Corvette Stingray and to injuries his front-seat passenger, girlfriend Rudy Washington, suffered in the crash.”
The Tuesday morning crash left Tina Tintor and her dog, Max, dead. Tintor was just 23-years-old.
The family of Tina O. Tintor released a statement Thursday on her death.
Tintor’s family attorney, Farhan Naqvi, said in a statement that “Tina’s tragic loss has devastated her family beyond a grief they could ever comprehend.”
“Family was everything to Tina, and she was the light of her parents’ life. Tina lived in Las Vegas since she was a baby,” the statement said. “She loved her 3-year-old Golden Retriever, Max, who passed alongside her Tuesday morning.”
