It appears that Deshaun Watson is not too fond of the NFC East.
Earlier in 2021, we found out that the Houston Texans QB reportedly stated he would not waive his no-trade clause to join the Philadelphia Eagles. You can now add another team in that division.
According to ESPN NFL Nation reporter John Keim, Watson is uninterested in waiving his no-trade clause to join the Washington Football Team.
As far as we know, Watson has only waived his no-trade clause for the Dolphins,
Watson has been exiled from the Houston Texans following sexual misconduct allegations, and despite his legal issues, Watson remains a sought-after target for multiple NFL teams in need of playmaking.
Watson was drafted by the Texans with the 12th pick in the 2017 Draft’s first round and has since made the All-Rookie Team, led the league in passing yards in 2020, and made three Pro Bowl squads.
The talent is there, but his off-the-field issues has teams not wanting to take a major chance on him without knowing how it will play out.
In 2020, he had 4,823 passing yards and 33 touchdown passes.
