It’s been five years since Colin Kaepernick had a job in the NFL. There have been rumblings of teams with interest in the past, but nothing has ever come to fruition.
This offseason, however, the rumors seem to be reaching a fever pitch, with the latest report attaching at least five interested teams to the former San Francisco 49ers quarterback.
This seemed to have NFL fans on high alert for any possible incoming Kaepernick updates. And one of them came in today that sent Twitter into a frenzy:
Of course, every social media vet knows not to believe anything that hits the internet on April 1st. But that important piece of advice was lost on many, as the fake Kapernick-to-the-Patriots send Twitter into mass hysteria.
Not everyone was fooled, but to those who were, APRIL FOOLS!
