Will Deshaun Watson play football this season? We don’t know that just yet, but when and if he does hit the field, hopefully, he will play a lot better than what he is showing in practice.
On Wednesday, Cleveland.com’s Twitter account posted video of the new Cleveland Browns quarterback throwing an interception during seven-on-seven drills in offseason OTAs. He also reportedly threw some incompletions without any pads or pass-rushers.
Some fans overreacted big time to the above video:
The Browns fan base will be unwilling to slide on anything after the franchise gave him a record-breaking $230 million in guaranteed money, so just playing okay and making the playoffs won’t be good enough.
On Tuesday, a woman filed a new lawsuit against Watson, to become the 23rd civil suit filed against him for alleged sexual misconduct.
A pair of grand juries in Texas declined to bring criminal charges against the quarterback. Watson has denied acting intentionally, and he has denied all the claims in the nearly two dozen civil suits against him.
