Skip Bayless has come under fire on social media after he made bizarre comments about Warriors star Stephen Curry during Friday’s episode of “Undisputed.”
The controversial FS! personality, discussing Curry’s legacy after the Warriors won their fourth NBA championship in the past eight years, made multiple references to Curry’s skin tone.
“I don’t care what Twitter says, I don’t care what anyone says, I just know what I did and did not see from little light-skinned Steph. There have been too many times when he got so light-skinned in the Finals I couldn’t see him anymore because he turned into a ghost. He just went ‘Poof!’ right before your very eyes.”
Sharpe laughed at Bayless’ apparent attempt at humor, but social media did not think it was funny.
One of the main reasons for Golden State’s dominance through these playoffs was Stephen Curry and his moments of unstoppable offense, efforts that earned him the NBA Finals MVP award.
This season, Curry averaged 25.5 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 6.3 assists per game. In the Finals, Curry averaged 31.2 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 5.0 assists per game and shot 48.2% from the field and 43.7% from 3.
