The Dallas Cowboys are already in big trouble and we are just barely headed into Week 2 of the season.
The team will heavily short-handed when they take on the reigning AFC Champion Cincinnati Bengals this weekend. On Friday, the team released their final injury report of the week and it showed that five players won’t be playing in the big game.,
Aside from quarterback Dak Prescott, offensive guard Connor McGovern, safety Jayron Kearse and defensive end Tarrell Bashem were among them since they didn’t practice once all week.
Wide receiver Michael Gallup is also ruled out, despite being limited in practice three days in a row.
With Prescott on the field, the Cowboys could only score 3 points against the Tampa Bay Bucs.
They will now face a team with wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase, who took the league by storm last season with a Bengals single-season record 1455 receiving yards. He caught 10 passes for 129 yards and a game-tying touchdown with two seconds left in the fourth quarter last week against the Steelers.
With Cowboys starter Dak Prescott sidelined by a thumb injury sustained in Dallas’ opener, the Bengals are preparing to face Cooper Rush, who has started one game in five NFL seasons.
