Gervonta Davis Knocked Out Mario Barrios With A Nasty Left Hook at State Farm Arena (VIDEO)

One of the fastest-rising young stars made his return Saturday when Gervonta “Tank” Davis moved up a weight class to challenge WBA (Regular) 140-pound champion Mario Barrios on Showtime PPV at State Farm Arena in Atlanta.

Davis was coming off a highlight-reel finish of former champion Leo Santa Cruz last October.

In the 8th round, Davis came out guns blazing knocking down Mario Barrios several times, which somehow Barrios survived as they moved to the next round.

In the 11th round, Davis delivered a brutal shot to the body and it was eventually called off by the ref.
