Logan Paul has threatened to take Paddy Pimblett to task, having accused the UFC star of spreading misinformation about his product online.
Paul, a YouTuber who is now contracted to WWE, launched an energy drink called Prime alongside KSI in 2022. The beverage has proven to be a huge success for the influencer pair, flying off the shelves and even landing a partnership with Premier League soccer club Arsenal.
Meanwhile, Pimblett has appeared in a video in which he compares Prime to the Body Fuel drink from Applied Nutrition. While speaking in the vid, he poured sugar into his hand to claim that every bottle of Prime has two grams of sugar while Body Fuel has none, as advertised.
Logan Paul Took Exception To Paddy Pimblett’s Claims
Paul was not best pleased after watching the video and accused Pimblett of spreading misinformation about his product, also threatening to “sue the f**k” out of the MMA fighter.
“You are now associated with a cheap, copycat beverage brand, it looks almost identical to Prime,” the internet sensation said on the most recent episode of his IMPAULSIVE podcast. “The formula that they use to make the drink is less calories, less sugar. I think that’s that sticking point, so he made a comparison video – here’s another L – that is identical to the comparison videos that I made.
“And he lied in the video, he poured out sugar at one part to show Prime’s two grams of sugar and he poured a f**k load of it. I could technically sue the f**k out of you for that misinformation and that’s a fact. You f***ing lied.”
Pimblett seems to have it in for the Paul brothers. Back in November, Jake Paul offered him a $1 million match.
“Get your manager to talk to my manager, we’ll sort it through the UFC and through everyone you wanna sort it with,” the UFC performer said in response.
“It won’t be on your terms like you do with everyone else. You’ll have to do a drug test, and we’ll see.”
