Social media was at full attention after reports of Sweden declaring sex a sport surfaced recently.
The country is understood to be set to host the first-ever European Sex Championship this month, with the “Swedish Sex Federation” to supervise proceedings.
According to the wild claims, the competition will take place over the course of six weeks and will feature participants who engage in sexual activity in various disciplines, which include penetration, oral sex, and a lot more, for 45 minutes to an hour each day. There are reports which suggest the competitions could last up to six hours a day.
You could see some of the reactions from social media right below:
The competition, set for June 8, will host 20 people from different countries, with a panel of three judges and audience ratings to decide on winners. Participants are to be well versed in sex, eroticism, Kama Sutra, and the Sanskrit scripture.
Apart from the disciplines noted above, they will also be judged on seduction, endurance, number of orgasms, sexual knowledge, chemistry, and sexual communication.
Is This All Really True?
Unfortunately, while there were moves made to have such a competition take place this month, the application from the chairman of said federation, Dragan Braytch, was rejected by Sweden’s National Sports Confederation. According to Swedish publications, Braytch runs several strip clubs in southern Sweden.
“Just like any other sport, achieving desired results in sex requires training. Therefore, it is only logical for people to start competing in this domain as well,” he was quoted as saying.
