Jordan Spieth became the victim of a hot mic this Friday as the 29-year-old PGA Tour golfer was caught dropping a major F-Bomb on a mishit at the U.S. Sopen.
It’s safe to say that the Dallas native is not having a great time at the Los Angeles Country Club. Even so, he managed to keep things PG for around a day and a half before letting his frustrations out on a shot at the par-5 8th.
It did appear that Spieth was satisfied as he gave his club a little twirl. And, to be fair, the shot wasn’t so bad. However, that had little bearing on his language.

Spieth seems to have thinned the strike, getting up and down from the right of the fairway for a birdie 4. Given that it was close to the bunker, he could have thought that it rolled in initially, possibly having lost track for a second. That could explain why his reaction was delayed.
It was quite a struggle for the golfer this Friday as he made some early bogeys before pulling even with birdies.
A U.S. Open and Masters winner in 2015, Spieth is keen on making his ninth cut in 12 appearances. He’s had an injury-plagued season so far and recently struggled with a wrist injury. It appears he’s all mended now.
